Cardamone Marketing Group launches site for Patisserie 42

Cardamone Marketing Group launched a new website for Patisserie 42—a collaboration between Diana Dumitru, owner of Ultimate Brownies, and Bill Rini, who owns A Taste of Excellence Catering.

According to Rini, he was initially drawn to Dumitru because of her artistic talent of making deserts.

“After tasting her confectionery creations, I new she was something special,” Rini said. “We had a few casual meetings in my office at A Taste of Excellence, and both [of us] realized that a partnership would be perfect for both our situations.

Rini said that Paitsserie 42 currently produces cakes and desserts to-order in its new state-of-the-art facility in Strongsville, Ohio but will have a retail storefront and cafe space in the future.

Dumitru is a graduate Johnson & Wales University and has a culinary degree in pastry arts. A former Ritz-Carlton Pastry Chef, she trained with renowned pastry chefs and cake artists that include Ewald Notter, Norman Love, Kerry Vincent and Collette Peters, in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Detroit and Lyon, France.

During her 14 years as owner of Cake Plus, Dumitru created cakes for local and national celebrities, such as LeBron James, Viktor Schreckengost and Gloria Estefan. She won pastry competitions locally, as well as in South Carolina, Louisiana and the Dominican Republic. Cleveland Magazine, Plain Dealer and Cleveland Jewish News, along with on WKYC and Fox 8, featured her work over the years.

Ultimate Brownies, a company Dumitru established in 1999, was twice named “Best Brownies” by Cleveland Magazine, continues to be available through Patisserie 42 and ships nationwide.

Rini is a graduate of Florida International University and earned a bachelor degree in Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts. Bill’s passion for food and hospitality never lets up and always dreamed of owning his own bakery.

“I look forward to our future together and know our road ahead will be sweet,” Rini said.
